Sarahmée has established herself as one of the most influential and distinctive voices in Québec’s rap scene. Recognized for her authenticity, commitment, and remarkable stage presence, she has earned a prominent place within the province’s cultural landscape.

In the fall of 2024, she released Pleure pas ma fille, sinon maman va pleurer, her fourth studio album. Blending Afrobeat influences, uplifting rhythms, and deeply personal lyrics, the record offers an intimate reflection on the challenges, transformations, and personal growth that have shaped her recent journey.

Throughout her career, Sarahmée has received multiple ADISQ Award nominations, including in the Rap Album of the Year category. She also became the first hip-hop artist to be nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, a milestone that helped pave the way for a new generation of rap artists in Québec.

Beyond music, Sarahmée has built an impressive career across media and television. A multiple-time Dynastie Gala nominee, she served as spokesperson for Black History Month in 2020 before joining the judging panel of Télé-Québec’s La Fin des Faibles. She also hosted the documentary series ELLES on TV5MONDE, traveling the world to meet inspiring women’s collectives.

A familiar face to the general public, Sarahmée has collaborated with brands such as Sephora, New Look, and Fizz. Since 2023, she has hosted the Premier Gala de l’ADISQ, further solidifying her status as one of the leading ambassadors of contemporary Québec culture.
